We are thrilled to announce the launch of our 2026 Mentorship Program! This is an incredible opportunity for both mentees and mentors to embark on a three-month journey of growth, learning, and connection.

Program Overview
The Ascend LA Metro Chapter Mentorship Program is designed to foster professional and personal development through meaningful one-on-one interactions. Here's what you can expect:

Mentoring Meetings:

Personalized sessions between mentors and mentees at least every two weeks
Horizontal or Vertical Mentoring:

Mentorship between peers or with professionals more senior
Key Events

Orientation (TBD, mid-April): A kickoff meeting to introduce pairings and to establish your goals for the program, including our first Professional Development & Leadership Program (PDLP) Session

Closing Ceremony (TBD, July): A final gathering to celebrate your newfound growth and connections
Why Participate?
This program will create a supportive environment where experienced API professionals can share their wisdom, insights, and hard-earned lessons with those who are newer to the workforce or seeking to advance their careers. It’s about building bridges of understanding, fostering genuine connections, and empowering the next generation of API leaders - an opportunity to give back and build forward.
Fees

Active LA Metro Members: $5
-
Non-Members: $75 (also includes complimentary access to our first PDLP event this year)
Participants who serve as mentors, regardless of membership status, will have fees waived.
